Tinytrekkie Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 (edited) Afternoon everyone, I would like some information on where I need to go to obtain a Thai police Clearance. I understand from research that this can only be done in Bangkok? Would this mean I'd need to take two trips there? I've heard some people talk about the possibility (but not always the case) of an "express service" that's offered upon arriving. Apparently it's around 1500-3000, for a speedy certificate PLUS it get's sent back to you (saving you a trip back up) is this an option? Are there any providers in Chiang Mai that offer this service as well (I've seen some posts about "certain establishments" that can do this for you)? Would appreciate any feedback or experiences, thank you! Edited January 21, 2018 by Tinytrekkie
Loaded Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 It can be done in Chiang Mai. You need to visit a police office along the Mae Rim road. I think it's called the forensics unit. It costs, or did, 100 baht. I don't know anything about an express service.
