Yeah, that's a mean pot shot at the rich right there, which is normally understandable, but if the guy's using some of his wealth to help wretched animals not have such wretched lives in Thailand, that's kind of hard not to like.

That's no way to talk about the girl.

A lord who has never done a days work in his life pulls a Thai superStar. that is because he could not pull a English wife as English girls are fed up with with BULLS>>>

To be fair, he is a life peer, not an inherited title, and he has been quite successful in the music/ club business - an unconventional business but I should imagine quite hard work - imagine listening to that bloody awful racket every night! So yes I should think he must have worked quite hard.

Now as for being a LibDem...

The scandal plagued actress who has appeared in countless TV serials went to the computer crimes police in 2015 after someone posted pictures of her allegedly having sex.

But that doesn't seem to have deterred filthy rich Palumbo who likes dogs.

I know Bluespunk already posted this clip but it has to be the best I have seen for years.  Not sure the author realised what he had written but sums the story up perfectly.

I am pretty sure it was intentional.

sure he's from a rich background, he went to eton. but as from what i read about him he was working in banking and invested his own money earnt from his banking job and started ministry of sound which is now a global brand not just in clubbing but record sales and a brand in it's own right and must be bringing in a fortune. so one could say, fair play to him, he is to a certain extent self made.

He's from a rich background because his grandfather Rudolph Palumbo made his fortune developing bombsites after the 2nd world War in London. Peter Palumbo carried on the property development business and became even wealthier.

James Palumbo here is merely the wealthy scion of the Palumbo family and is not a hereditary lord unlike some of the twits who keep the air in the House of Lords barely circulating. With help from his family money, he has made his own fortune. And appears to have quite good taste in women.

Rich man dates Thai actress!  Hmmm... not much of a headline is it.  Maybe call it "The Prince and The Showgirl"?  No, that's been done before.  Well unless he goes to bed wearing his H.O.L robes he is just another naked man with his packet of Viagra getting it on with his Thai girlfriend.  Everything else is irrelevant.  We have all been there (with or without the blue pill) so why is it of any note at all?

He's just another 54 year old English  multi millionaire,, what makes you think he needs the blues?

Good grief, she's 32 already? I remember how her French accent used to annoy me when she was 19 or 20. Of course I'm American, and I'm sure my Thai accent is ludicrous, but for some reason it really bothered. me. She also had a mono-tonal, metallic sound that I didn't like, In her more recent action adventures she's sounded much better. Great legs!

I don't.  I never do and I am way over 54!  I was just illustrating that he is the same as most of us and like it or not many seek the help of the little blue pill.

Interesting though that you think that being a multi-millionaire means it is less likely that he would need Viagra.

maybe because they can pull the hottest birds and therefore less likely to require that little extra boost?

Does UK have penalties for those who do not respect the royals?  If so, does it includes guys like this?

No, look for a TV program me called the Windsors or look for spitting image clips, and some people in the UK genuinely like and respect the British royal family without having to be threatened with arrest

Give it time,  give it time.  I recall one Muslim leader quoted as saying that the Muslim's will out breed the natives by 2050 or thereabouts and ' win ' by a democratic vote. Sheer weight of numbers. It's happening anywhere the Muslim's have been invited in to. Slowly, slowly come the small changes followed by demands for larger come.

I don't live there but hear many stories how Muslim majority areas have changed the face and lifestyle in some ways..... Closing pubs for example.

They have already won but you cannot see it unfortunately.

2050 you and I will not be around but speculation says 13mill, but not all are bad as you know well, so stop trying to say they are, try and take people on face value not what you read.

Pubs you say being closed thats a new one on me. most pubs are and have been closed because of the price of a pint, as down the road at supermarkets its being sold a lot cheaper. go to the pub and 3 drinks, sod that stay at home save £20.00 and open your own cheap supply and that is what most people do these days. most pubs today have restaurants and offer 2 for 1 on dining, naff food and overpriced drinks £4.50 for a glass of wine when the bottle costs £5.00 in the local offif, stay at home or go to a friends its cheaper. no pubs aint closing because of Muslims

Once Brexit arrives you will see the rule changes hit as then the bloody EU will not have the final say.

I think he's talking about the pub closures across the east end of London and in towns like Blackburn. The closures there are due to the change of demographic in those areas, and the fact that the majority of residents there now don't drink alcohol (for religious reasons).

Have to take your word for it. From the Economist:

A second possibility is demographics. Mr Carl found that pubs in boroughs with faster-growing populations of Muslims, whose religion forbids drinking, were more likely to shut their doors. (He notes that demographics were not a meaningful predictor for pub closures across wards, which are smaller than boroughs but have spottier data.) Our own analysis suggests that after controlling for house prices, a one percentage-point increase in a borough’s Muslim population is associated with a roughly 1% decline in the number of pubs. Newham, where Muslims make up 35% the population, has lost more than half of its pubs in the past 15 years.

Pubs are not being closed because of Muslims, I lived in Muslim areas of the UK and you are just talking rubbish. Pubs are being closed across the country, because of other social changes etc.

So how about the hundred of thousands of Muslims that served for the UK in both world wars? How about the ones serving now? Are they just taking over the country? It is the typical right-wing scare mongering, that pushes the blame for a falling economy on foreigners while the people really causing the economic damage are laughing all the way to the bank.

That whole argument of them breeding us out is the exactly the same kind of bs the Nazis used to say about Jews

Refer to post 114.... Not my words but quoted from The Economist .

It was actually a Muslim leader who  made the population comments.

How many hundreds of thousands of muslims actually resided in the UK in 1914 priorr to the war?  You can bet your bottom dollar they weren't fighting other Muslim's.

You are either easily led by the lefty media or are simply deluded.
