Afternoon chaps

 

For the past couple of days I've had an insatiable craving for both swiss roll and battenberg cake. Does anyone know of anywhere in or around Patts where I can locate either or, hopefully, both of these spongey delights?

Try going to one of the big hotels and asking for someone in their pastry department. They may be willing to go for it.

Try Pastry Addiction on Beach Road...5 mins walk east of Soi 6. Not sure if they have, but I go there for coffee and muffin occasionally and they do have a bit of a selection of delectable cakes.

Quite sure seen the Rolls in misc. versions at Big C Klang and sometimes Foodland Bakery. The Dusit has a lovely little bakery and coffee shop on the right side entrance hall. Enjoy. MS>

I would have a go at making them if I were actually living here full-time, but I'm currently on the tail-end of a one-month escapade and thus really can't be arsed.
