Normally a doctor can tell which leg needs amputated, unless you're just doing it for a part in the pantomime.

Not important mate, i would be very happy if they amputated both of my legs.

Here is a question for you, you have a serious accident (life threatening) they say only hospital available to help you is Srican road, what would you do?

Ohh i will not go there it is below my very high standards, no you would be happy for them to treat you.

4 years ago i was transferred there ( on deaths door) wife was told your husband will not survive the night,prepare yourself for the worst.

Well smarty pants, they saved me, operated fitted 4 titanium rods, 40 screws in my back, fixed my punctured lung, fixed my broken femur, hip, pelvis, and all this was done in what you refer to as a dirty hospital.

Your comments disgust me, and are a slur on the fantastic staff who work magic on patients in very difficult circumstances.

Read my response, I have many friends, and neighbours in kk that are doctors.

Khon Keen hospital had/has a problem with cleanliness over the last 10 years at least.

Gotta agree with Colin,

Don't care about dirty or not, antibiotics fixes that.

I want to be put back together as fast as possible.

As for News (local or otherwise), that stopped being informative around 1980, when it transitioned from information to propaganda and light entertainment. I know, I was there, and I was one of the guys making sure information was no longer going out..

Yes that is the best govt one by a long way. 

Here's a story about kk hospital, of which isn't an isolated case, but the hospital manages somehow to block the stories in Thai.this hospital is the last resort. Ram and Bangkok hospital should be used by all expats. However, one off my daughter's was born in sri Nakarin, and the experience was better than her sisters in bamrungrad.

Don't say that mate.I can understand your frustration but amputation(s) can create a new lot of horrible problems-believe you me,I know.

I am back after 9 days out of action, in Khonkaen hospital.
I am always attacking the police/officials here, but only praise for hospital staff.
Been out of action with a bacterial infection in my left foot (toes turned black),
After some extremely good care i got home last night, (very happy).
So all you folk who speak about poor care/dirty conditions in government hospitals take note.
 I received excellent care in a very clean private room.

Great care at an extremely great price I am sure.
I spent 4 days in kk ram a while back and it cost just under 200k baht.
Lucky my insurance covered it.
If you arnt sick before you get there you sure will Be when u get the bill.

A tad drama queen don't you think? You even criticise police when they do feel good things in their own free time for the poor, criticise to the point where you still refuse to believe things even when government policies or official investigations from overseas are written in front of you. KK Hospital I have no doubt has had stories about cleanliness. Just like most government hospitals in Thailand. The building I was admitted was new so very clean just like back home. The rest of the hospital was filthy. What it has going for it are good specialists.
