Thai immigration police said yesterday they had intercepted an Iranian national travelling on a stolen Danish passport.

Hassan Gholami, 27, was apprehended after flying from Tehran to Phuket and then to Bangkok where he was due to transfer to BA 10 to London where he hoped to work.

He was using a Danish passport in the name of Mr Kris Stecher.

Gholami admitted buying the passport in an East Asian country for $5,000 US (160,000 baht).

Well done immigration, one more bad guy stopped on the way to the Uk.

Anyone traveling on a false or stolen passport , should be jailed 10 years straightaway

on terrorism charges.

Unless He/She has a very very good reason for this.

Reckon he thought he had a very good reason, who's going to be the Judge?

The poor guy really got scammed.

You’d think if you dropped $5,000 on a black market passport it would at least be good enough to get you in and out of Thailand.

Guess you can’t trust anyone anymore.

Glad that they caught this Iranian, he must be up to no good, trying to get to London in this manner.

Thanks Kerryd for your take on that Canadian scum, who I suspect is a returning IS soldier, who

was trying to pretend to be an honest person. He got caught in his lies as well, no thanks to

Carbon tax loving Trudeau.

Geezer

strange journey. all the way to phuket just to fly to london...and to work there?
he could stay in thailand, get married with an old farmer and spend the rest of his life
in serene and sun light.
i guess all the world wants to get to london where they think they will get rich
cause the pound is "expensive"...as the english pop song goes : "everybody
want to rule the world".
They can earn good money from wherever they want just by trading online cryptocurrencies...

A lot of words to what end?

To conflate desperate souls dreaming of driving a taxi or opening an "ethnic" restaurant/take away in the UK (popular rungs on the ladder to "success") with terrorists?

he would have but his hopes were shattered after learning all the old farmers were already scooped up by tv forum members.
