World saved from horror, Spice Girls tour cancelled.

I read that they won't tour but that all of them will receive 10 million each for promoting a new "best of spice girls" album.

So maybe the music will be played again in the bars - obviously with lots of new computerized drums and whatever...

Don't forget your earplugs!

You seem to have the impression that 70 means a nursing home, rocking chair and a blanket over your knees. Plus, why should you care about what he's interested in? Strange.

No. I would expect someone to care about touring bands they like. That's what logical people do.

Perhaps plug your brain in...Your 70 year old's were teens in probably the best pop music era of our times and never leaves them, the 1960's....

Except pop music isn't that good. Blues and Rock was great in the 60s and 70s.

12yo girls are into pop music.

“We didn’t sing our own songs in the early days – they weren’t good enough,” Lennon remarked, “the one thing we always did was to make it known that there were black originals, we loved the music and wanted to spread it in any way we could.”

Most bands did other folks stuff, Rolling Stones and many others did and are still going strong in their 70's, but you said no pop in the 60's....Get your facts right before you post..

The Beatles were considered a pop music band, then they developed into something much more. Pop music is exactly what the name suggests, popular music, good and bad. Perhaps do a bit of research before making silly statements.

LOL. Everyone loved pop music back in the 60s. It was just the audio version of milkshake, enjoyable and soon forgotten. The Beatles played pop music and they are supposed to be a great group.

Back when 45s were cheap, few took music seriously. It was just background noise.

I think folk was great before Blues was.
