It doesn't matter whether you need to get someone to the hospital, or need to go buy beer, you don't park in front of someone's driveway and block them in. Of course you don't need to take an axe to someone's car either. If it's that big a problem, station a tow truck in the area and remove the cars and levy a fine plus towing fees.

The insanity people pull off with their vehicles here constantly blows me away. Doesn't matter how stupid you are, anyone knows what they're doing parking like that. The only reason these idiots don't just stop & park in the middle of the road is there's no doubt, there will be consequences. Deterrents & consequences is how to make children behave. In dire need here wherever there's pavement!

Those aren't foreclosure signs. They are signs saying it is illegal to park or set up stalls in front of property and also how laws have been broken in setting up markets in residential area. This is obviously a long running saga. It would seem to be some sort of "residential estate" where they have rented out spare land to markets. Probably every "moo bahn" residents nightmare.

Buy a second/third hand car and park it front of your own house. On top of the car put a placard saying that you (the house owner) are the owner of the car. Many ways to solve this problem.

Thailand needs more parkinglots for motocycles and less for cars...give motocycles the best spots right in front of the entrance of shops/markets and let carowners walk more....this will force cardrivers to use their motocy so there's less pollution, less congestion, faster shopping (more time for the kids), less work for the police

 

Also give motocy's a special lane on the road where cars are not allowed to drive. BKK has too many cars, they need more clean efficient motocycles.

This is a problem everywhere in Thailand.  Shop owners where I live strategically park motorcycles, use orange cones, chairs; and, a variety of other things to keep cars from parking in front of their establishments. If that is too much of a hassle, open your own gov't approved towing service and turn this into a money maker.  Another idea, get an electronic monitor that automatically plays an obnoxiously loud message shouting "NO PARKING" (in Thai) every time someone parks there.  At the end of the day these ladies need to be asked "what have YOU done to fix the problem"? Complaining to someone else isn't the answer.

I personally would go for the key job which as you say would not solve the problem apart from a one at a time situation
