One night in Pattaya quite enough as Chinese tourist "attacked by Thai" vows to go home

A Chinese tourist told Pattaya police that he wanted to go back home the next day after he claimed he was attacked in a Walking Street go go bar for no reason.

The 28 year old said he and his mate had only been in Pattaya one day but that was enough.

Tourist police on patrol in the famed red light district found Kul NN (as named by the Crime Pattaya page on Facebook) with a right hand cut from a bottle and bruising on his leg.

He told police in the mobile van as he received first aid that he went in the Crazy House A Go Go with a friend. For no reason a Thai man started to cause trouble and a fight broke out.

He tried to defend himself with a bottle.

Crazy Horse staff ejected all of the tourists and told police later it was an altercation between patrons and nothing to do with them.

The Thai man managed to flee the scene in the confusion.

The injured tourist was taken by medics to Pattaya Memorial then to the police station to make a formal complaint.

The incident happened on Tuesday at 12.30 am.

It is not known if the tourist made good on his threat to quit Thailand by Wednesday.

There will obviously be more and more Chinese victims of crimes.

But, it will not stop them from coming.

You are probably correct... but not necessarily so.... if enough 'attacks' hit Chinese tourists it will almost definitely stop many from coming - they have a massive home-network of reviews and comments and recommendations, and many DO listen to positive and negative reviews (way more then westerners do!) It may not stop the greater masses, but it is possible that many will boycott Thailand, and by many i still mean masses!

Great, if that's the case ..... Hopefully, this story is one of many ...............

So, the   'They all look the same' demeaning phrase is proven true as the Thai was able to escape the watchful and protective eyes of Walking Street.

Seems last week's soap and brush washdown failed to clean up the street after all.

That's fine. Thailand doesn't care much about repeat tourists, as long as there are another billion or so Chinese who haven't been here yet, and who don't read such news... Would be nice to know the full story, though.

Wake up Thailand before you loose all your tourists

And improve your CCTV so it easy to find all this bad Thai men

Odd that a Thai man was allowed in the Go Go. They usually are not allowed.

The owners are afraid jealous BF's,pimps etc will come in and make trouble

I would go so far as to speculate this was BF or pimp.

Or maybe, the Chinese guy acted as he/they do in China and got what he deserved.

That is why most bars do not allow Thai men in.

The Thai guys like the cash the girls bring home but do not like to see how they get make it. Hurts their delicate little ego's. To realize they live off a woman who gets played with in a bar.

It is a bouncers job to keep control in a bar not some one off the street.
