New Pheu Thai leader to be known after April 1: Watana

Maybe you right but it still baffles me that Thaksin put some weight on the selection of Jatuporn as a minister but never succeeded.

Anyway, Yingluck reshuffled her cabinet  4 times in 3 years which is same as Prayut’s frequency.

Yes and its real good what Prayut is doing.. those reshuffles are so good and keep things so clear. Quite a deflection dear Eric. Just because the junta did something does not make it a good thing. I would argue myself that the constant changes are not a good thing as it takes time to get ministers up to speed.

  • We already know the new leader, Thaksin supports Suradath. Thaksin is the main man. The only reason they are now saying it will be known later is because there is a  new law prohibiting outside influe

  • THE NEW LEADER of Pheu Thai Party will be known after April 1.   .....could not have chosen a more appropriate date!

  • Someone’s lying would be a better explanation.

Rob, what I posted was real news which you misconstrued as deflection. Cabinet change for many reasons. When you have a coalition in the PTP government, you can expect jostling among allies for position and whole lot of pleasing. Twice Yingluck changed the cabinet because of Yongyuth’s Alpine case and demise of Chumpol. Change of cabinet is also necessary when ministers underperformed as in Prayut’s Finance and Commerce portfolio. Cabinet change not necessary bad.

No what you did was defending the poor performance of YL (many cabinet shuffles) by the equally poor junta performance of many cabinet changes. While you could have come out and saying that indeed many cabinet shuffles are not a good thing to have.

A cabinet change is indeed not always bad but if you do it many times its real disruptive and you know it and I know it. Its just that you can't bring it over your heart to say anything negative about the PTP.

A cabinet change is not bad, but many or more then one are as it disrupts the whole proces. What is needed is a constant plan not changes to please powerbrokers in a faction.

I rather doubt that's true.

How could anybody accept Jatuporn as a minister?

You like to say the paymaster is a smart man, you really think he would risk the negatives associated with appointing Jatuporn as a minister?
