He must be fapping himself with grief right now. OTT too. If others are going to include Rooney, Aguero and Sterling in the equation then excluding Sanchez is just dumb analysis for effect. We just want to see Sanogo, Sterling and ANO (credible) in that line up. Otherwise no chance of top 3 IMO.
P45Mustang
Sanogo, Giroud, Welbeck. Scare me. Chelsea defence will have them for breakfast. Edited September 1, 2014 by P45Mustang

P45Mustang
^ So? Sanogo, Giroud and a winger who Wenger thinks is a striker. Brilliant. Looks like Campbell's Soup to me. Carry on. Edited September 1, 2014 by P45Mustang
SantiSuk
Jonathan Hope, the man who says he is brokering a potential move for Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck, tells BBC Radio 5 live that three clubs want the England player - including one in the north-east. "There are two clubs who will meet the fee, the other want him on loan," adds Hope. Spuds, Newcastle and Arsenal. No prizes for who wants the loan deal! wilai
Very underwhelming window Wenger. Fifth place here we potentially come. Cue excuses (again)? Actuallly, I don't think you did too badly. Everyone mocks Welbeck, but his 'stats' when played as a central striker are pretty good. Elsewhere, you've replaced Sagna, got a better back up/#1 keeper, picked up a great prospect in Chambers, and Sanchez ain't bad Oh yeah.....and got shut of Bendtner Alexis Sanchez (Barcelona) Undisclosed Mathieu Debuchy (Newcastle United) Undisclosed David Ospina (Nice) Undisclosed Calum Chambers (Southampton) Undisclosed Danny Welbeck (Manchester United) Undisclosed Out Lukasz Fabianski (Swansea City) Free Bacary Sagna (Manchester City) Free Chuks Aneke (Zuite Waregem) Free Nicklas Bendtner Released Chu Young Park Released Wellington Silva (UD Almeria) Loan Thomas Eisfeld (Fulham) Undisclosed Carl Jenkinson (West Ham United) Loan Thomas Vermaelen (Barcelona) Undisclosed Ignasi Miquel (Norwich City) Undisclosed Ryo Miyaichi (Twente) Loan

Yeah but he thinks he's more of a striker than most Gooners do tbh. More of an inside/outside right to me. Interestingly, this is what the club call "forwards": Forwards 9 Lukas Podolski 12 Olivier Giroud 14 Theo Walcott 15 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 17 Alexis Sanchez 22 Yaya Sanogo 27 Serge Gnabry 28 Joel Campbell

Chicog
Welbeck injured in England training. The Arse glass ankles virus strikes already Just the workings of an overexcitable journo to lure in gullible people like yourself. "But unfortunately in training today he did manage to receive a knock in the session, but I have been assured he is okay and that it will not rule him out, but obviously I suppose it could happen." I hope it does. I'm fed up losing players to pointess friendlies against crap teams. Play them in the quals by all means but if I were him I'd sit it out. It's not like he's not going to get picked, is it?

Agreed. Think I'll jump on a train and take a look. Advice from anyone on how to have an easy journey to Wembley (from Kings Cross) - I guess that translates to how early to go/ train or tube / places to while away until match starts? Have only ever been to new Wembley for rock concerts for which prep has normally included grass of two types Metropolitan line direct to Wembley Park then 5 minute walk will be the easiest mate. (know that as Wembley's alternative name is Anfield South!) However, we did use a different route via Marylebone as the pubs were better around there! Local pubs will have changed by now but there are plenty about around Wembley Park. But if you turn left (away from the ground) out of the station there was a small Paddy's pub about 50yds on other side of the road. Can't remember the name. Ask a local when you get there. Travelling time, with luck, only about 20 minutes from Kings X. Edited September 3, 2014 by wilai
P45Mustang
Well, if SantISuk goes to Wembley that will make the crowd 40,000 plus 1. Alternative travel arrangement, Kings X to Marylebone and overground to Wembley Stadium. Could have a swift one at the Marylebone Sports Bar on the way. C'mon England.
