My wife is on an Extension of stay until 30 November 2018 with a Multiple Re-entry permit. On coming back from a short trip home to Laos, via Chong Mek, her passport was stamped but with no 'admitted until' date entered. Her TM6 departure card was correctly stamped, until 30 Nov 2018 and there was another stamp about doing a 90 day report.

I've been advised that we should go to Chaengwattana where the Extension was issued to get it stamped, but this may be difficult to do. My wife will be flying back to Laos from Suvarnabhumi in April, with our 3-year-old, what problems, if any, can she expect if the stamp stays as it is?

There will probably be no problem for her when she leaves the country since it is evident the officer forgot to stamp the the admitted until date.

But I think I would get it fixed at immigration. Chaeng Wattana has a desk for stamping errors.

There is no problem. The date is clearly correct in immigration's computer system. Keep the TM6 form safe just as an additional documentation that all is legal. I really do not think correctly this before departure is important.
