Feasibility of Projector + Screen as good substitute for Computer Monitor & TV Display ?

Featured Replies

Dear Fellow Thaivisa.com Posters,

I wonder would "Projector [ battery, & mains, power supplies ]" + "Screen [ folding ]" be feasible as good substitute combo. for :

x_

traditional Computer Monitor ?

y_

TV Display ?

I am particularly interested in the hopes of using a Projector with :

1_

Android Smart TV Box

2_

Intel PC Stick

Such a hopeful solution would allow a very convenient "small" + "secureable" + "universal" option for person :

a_

living physically minimalist lifestyle

b_

needing to use more than 1 computer device consecutively

c_

having to be re-located often

I note that Lazada.co.th produces much cheaper in price results than is available upon brief survey by me in a few shops with projector department ;

Maybe, I am wrong to hope even more that projector solutions exist on lazada.co.th currently for < THB 5,000.

Anyway,- I presume that any reasonable solution today will certainly cost > THB 1,000.

https://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?from=input&q=projector&sort=priceasc&ppath=30550:56926,30550:149852&price=1000-5000

This post has in mind also some of basis of thread I started just prior Re; Android Smart TV Box & Intel PC Stick today ;

Perhaps 4k factor is so important that it should be a required parameter of Projector ?

I do not know presently.

Which is smartest choice -- "Android Box" or "Intel PC Stick" -- for 1_Office Apps., 2_Internet Browsing [ incl. Youtube etc. ] + Emailing, & 3_TV + Radio Channels

Regards,
