BANGKOK, 19 March 2018, (NNT) - The Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC) of the Ministry of Culture is inviting art lovers to visit the ‘Breaking the Walls’ exhibition, showcasing Thai contemporary arts through graffiti.

The OCAC has recently held a talk to debut the exhibition which is being held at the Contemporary Art Gallery on Ratchadamnoen road from now to the end of the month.

The exhibition features artworks from 20 graffiti artists who have created their masterpieces on walls with a combined area of 480 square meters. Each piece blends a mix of fine arts and street arts and gave birth to exotic contemporary artworks, while delivering sharp social commentary. Majority of the artists deployed two distinctive creative styles; acrylic and spray paintings.

The exhibition offers a stage for the new generation of artists to showcase their pieces.

‘Breaking the Walls’ exhibition will be held until March 31st from 10am to 7pm. The show opens daily except Monday. Admission is free.
