TORONTO (Reuters) - A Canadian tribunal stayed the deportation hearing of a former foster child on Wednesday in a case that could have ramifications for hundreds of immigrant children who are wards of the state but do not have citizenship.

Thailand expects record rice production

Dense smog blankets Chiang Mai as crisis worsens

Thais turn on "rich and selfish" BMW driver for parking in handicapped only walkway

Thais online were quick to condemn what they saw as selfishness by the wealthy when pictures of a BMW parked on a handicapped walkway at a northern Bangkok shopping center were shared online.

PHUKET: Phuket Governor Norrapaht Plodthong led the a “Big Cleaning Day” at the Phuket Stray Dog Shelter at Bang Khanun Forest Park in Thalang on Tuesday (Mar 20) where he stated that the facility needs a dog crematorium to burn not only the bodies of dead dogs from the shelter but also outside.

The body appears to be a white male wearing only a white T-shirt and had already started to decompose

PHUKET: Police have confirmed to The Phuket News that they do not believe a taxi driver’s story that a broken shock absorber caused him to crash his vehicle in Thalang this morning while taking a Chinese family of three from Phuket International Airport to Patong.

Changi airport voted the world’s best airport for the 6th consecutive year

As death toll from the bus crash on Highway 304 in Wang Nam Khiao district of Nakhon Ratchasima last night climbed to 18, deputy prime minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan said brake failure was the cause of the fatal accident.

Bus mishap in Ayutthaya leaves driver, 50 students injured

The tragic double-decker coach crash on Wednesday night in Nakhon Ratchasima has been followed by an outpouring of grief for the 18 deceased victims, all whom were from Kalasin’s Muang district, including tour guide Sompit Sutthichum, her husband and two children.

Fisheries Dept cracks down on cichlid traffickers

BANGKOK, 22 March 2018 (NNT) - The Department of Fisheries has invoked Section 65 of the 2015 Fisheries Act to ban businesses from importing, exporting, transferring and raising invasive aquatic species, in a bid to save native fish populations and the aquaculture industry from cichlids.
