LOL. Feel free to include a starter as to why you think this thread is necessary.

It should be on Farang Pub subforum if you really want some good answers.

Nothing wrong with an Isaan lady ( why is mother I'd like to #### deleted )

maybe much better than a young lazy giggle box who is only interested in Facebook and IPhone,no other skills or attributes other than being younger and a bit better looking (depending on the beer holder)

What English Teacher? There is a difference between a 55 year old gentleman Farang English Teacher, having WP and doing it more or less just to keep busy or a 25 year old Farang Desperado, without WP, hopping from "language school" to "language school".
BKK Thais know how much such an English Teacher earns. Just no price to win, unless he looks like Tom Cruise 20 years ago.
At any rate, at this salary, they will hardly be able to enjoy "life to it's fullest" in BKK.
To make it worse, once back home and their CV mentioning "several years of gainful employement in Thailand to learn about Thai-Culture" will be cause for much amusement in any "human-resources" office back home.

It remains: To live in Thailand long term:
- Bring along a big fat wallet or be employed by an international company operating in Thailand. That way, female company  and general well-being is assured.
If none of those 2 criteria are in place, one should be prepared to practise the fine art of living a life as a "bottom-feeder" in Thailand. Enjoy.
Cheers.
