Sorry I am not a native English speaker so if there is some underlaying meaning about what Tutsi try to say please tell/explain to me.

From his postings I sort of understood he is getting aroused by looking at young/underaged girls and how they dress.

Alex - let me clarify. This is how I interpret Tutsi's colourful tale. Young ladies do things normally no one would take notice of because well they are children. However when they start teenie years and older - they develop and still behave same way they would as a child, but this child like behaviour now becomes well rather provocative and vampy. Add form fitting clothing and mini-skirts then you'd prob understand the possible reaction from poor old tutsi or any lad sitting there.

Not to mention a blossoming young lady in same bed as Parents, well is a bit off. (granted this is very Thai, and I'm sure its rather uncomfy for Tutsi and any farang in a similar situation)

thanks brit...the thread is having it's intended purpose...to provoke discussion where it would otherwise be viewed as unseemly, etc. Alex doesn't get my drift, apparently...in the fleshpots of BKK, Pattaya, Patong, etc one expects tittillation...not on a street corner in rural central Thailand. Everything appears to be perfectly innocent but with scrutiny the sexual tension is there in bucketloads. I'm from California where even in small towns one can expect halter tops an' little shorts on young girls and the associated provocation but this is due to mass media and it's influence. Rural third world is necessaraly more discrete...

I also do understand why you thought the way you did, yet in Tutsi's case, I pray Iam correct in saying, there is nothing to fear. He is indeed expressing somehing that to be honest is not often talked about, being a rather taboo subject, esp. in recent years.

The truth is, SEX is imposed upon us in every form of advertising, media, music, everything, and culturally is a huge fashion statement.

yeah...you guys know what I'm about...I can refer to the simple beauty of young girls without gettin' all sexual about it. I have a stepdaughter and and about a dozen nieces that are all (in my view) exquisitely beautiful but that's talkin' as their stepdad/uncle...

most adults with parental responsibilities look in on the kids when they are sleeping...anyone that didn't admit to lingering and admiring their beauty when in repose would be a liar...ain't nothin' sexual about it...it's just that talkin' about it seems to be weird...

1. my stepdaughter does not dress in miniskirts, my wife would never allow such attire. She does however dress in t-shirts, shorts and flip flops like most kids when they return home from school...

2. what wimmin chose to wear in public is not my concern...if a woman has a nice shape and what she is wearing accentuates that shape then OK...nothing that I have control over...

3. if a woman wears a short skirt or tight clothes in certain venues like soi nana or soi cowboy one could reasonably presume that sex is on offer...

I hope that foregoing is not too complicated, even with yer limited knowlege ob de language...

thanks for that glenbat...although I haveta admit that I haven't been back to Nan's inna few days...the shop assistants at the Big Store have now captured my attention. After buying my Sang Som and Sprite I have a chat widde owner, who I know from days past in order to furtively gaze at all the tight denim...

could never unnerstand the preference for tight denim in hot climes...aside from tittilating falangs that are attempting to mind their own business the attire must be very uncomfortable...a nice, long, modest cotton dress should be prefereble, surely or baggy shorts, t-shirts, etc...

all of the underage/overage girls that I know are either family or their friends and I am fortunately a naturally protective sort of guy...it is possible to admire their beauty without being sexually aroused but this seems to be lost on some folks. Particularly when they start to lose their baby fat and transform into young women and observing the associated manner and attitude. This fascination is common to most parents...

my stepdaughter is no longer a cuddly child which I lament...her face is no longer round and chubby and is turning into an adolescent. I note that she takes better care of her appearance (she's obviously noticing the boyz) and this accentuates the transition...

but she eats too much french toast when she comes home after school and her butt is getting fat and I give it a squeeze and say 'TUT YAI!' Later, I see her looking at her shape in the mirror to see if I was right...

she still wants to get into bed with me and her mother but the wife has been recently actively discouraging...mostly because she takes up too much space...she's already taller and heavier than her mom at 13 y.o. all this business is new to me at 56 y.o. I have a son but was divorced when he was 5. My wife's family is large with the usual extended rural family arrangement...we'd have the whole crew in bed with us if the bed was big enough...it's the usual way, no one likes to sleep alone...ghosts and all that...

no probs, we head off back home...the 12 y.o. drew a portrait of tutsi and pointed to a calendar onna wall wid a foto ob HRH where he wears black plastic spectacle frames like tutsi. I was at a loss to explain that even though I am her loving uncle and a nice guy, I could never be like the King of Thailand...

yeah...this is something that I have considered if you see a previous post...ain't no good to have a middle aged falang in bed widda 13 y.o. girl in Thailand, however innocent it may be. However, as I said in my previous post, if it's OK widde wife it should be OK...

my concern was wid teachers who are trained to look out for signs ob sexual abuse...since there aren't any in this case, there should not be a worry... but, there are 'appearances'...

my feeling is that the stepdaughter wants to sleep wid her mother...I just happen to be in the bed next to her...

We seem to have got off topic a little. Hormonal sexual tension is everywhere, even in the small villages. I can understand and have seen it (adopted 16 year old son seems to be working his way through the local young lady population at the moment). Looking cool/smart/sexy/fashion is all part of it.

Personally I think young Thais get up to much more naughiness than we realise. I had some experience of this recently when I had a young gilfriend and had an insight into her and her friends personal lives. All I can say is its very open, carefree, with both sexes for the girls, with little thought to long term relationships. Underage drinking makes it worse and drops the inhibitions leading to experiementation and sex. I was also amazed how much sexual knowledge the girlfriend and her friends had.

Needless to say my young lady has left me for another lady, so it just goes to show how screwed up (some) Thais are with their sexuality. She says she still loves me while knocking off her girlfriend Maybe its just a phase she needs to go through?

TiT. Can anyone figure out how openness/carefree/freedom Thai thing works with all the Buddhist morals? Maybe its the case that Thailand is just the land of contradictions?

yeah...there are contradictions...fer example, I've never seen my stepdaughter or adolescent nieces other than fully clothed and they appear to bathe wid their clothes on, ie., modesty in the extreme. An' yet, there seems to be sexual tension in de air...my wife is OK wid casual nudity and the mom-in-law walks about next door half naked wid men inna house...

then there is alla tight denim down at de Big Store an' outside ob Nan's food stall...do these teenaged sirens bathe wid their clothes on then dress seductively?...hard to say...
