Jomtien Top Up Machine for Sim Cards

Featured Replies

I've been reading about trying to extend the validity period of a low-use AIS Sim card.   I have read that you can "top up" for as low as 10 baht at a time, plus 2 baht service charge, which would extend the validity by 30 days.    The machines are getting harder to find, but does anyone know of such a machine in Jomtien, or even Pattaya?

in front of every 7-11/Lotus/mom and pop store.

Cost 3bht for service charge last time I used it.

Alternative is the machines in front of AIS stores, minimum 20bht but no service charge.

? Really ?

The fee is 3 Baht now unfortunately.

And even though 7/11 and AIS have split up there are still the orange colored machines at about every 7/11?

If not it's due to my age...

I live in a village in the sticks and we have three mom&pop shops each with such a thing.

And you don't find in Jomtien?

I got helped by one.   10 baht plus 2 baht...extended 30 days.   Outside of a Family Mart.   Near Mityon on Theppasit.

You want to know about machines in Jomtien , There is a Top Up machine in Jomtien Beach Condo.

Another one on Soi Wat Boon, in front of the first 7-11 on the right as you come from Jomtien Second Road.

I've used both machines a fair bit and never been charged anything, that I know of.          .
