Featured Replies

hi can someone help me please / i bought a canon g2000 printer scanner new i am trying to get it working with my pc running windows 10

i have followed the instructions on the disk supplied and it installs the driver etc however at the end i asks to print a test page i press yes and the fault comes up ' printer performing other operation' also it says the printer is a usb2 device windows 10 is a usb 3 device

i have asked canon to no avail i have tried the following

  • connecting to all my usb ports
  • delating the ports and let win 10 restore them
  • turned off the option in the usb ports that controls power
  • reinstaled drivers from canon updates
  • run win 10 updates

now at a total loss can any one please help me

Please delete all drivers for your printer first. Download the driver here:

You've got to wait for the full setup of your driver, in your OP the printer setup wasn't completely done, that's why you received the message:  printer performing other operation' .

You need to go to setting- devices and make this printer to your Default printer. When installed the driver, please check again and report back.
