Hiya all

one is very confused of UK medical treatments. My Wife is on a UK settlement visa, I know she does not pay for NHS, not that we ahve used it. Does she pay for dental treatment and pescriptions, my GP and the chemist do not know, so I paid anyways.

Whats the situation on that?

Thanks All :o

My wife is here on a settlement visa too, as far as I know she's treated the same as us, has to pay for dental work and prescriptions. If anyone knows otherwise please tell.

AFAIK all UK residents unless on benefits or for medical reasons pay for prescriptions & depending on whether you signed up at the dentist as an NHS patient or not determines how much you pay but ALL NHS patients (again unless on benefits etc) pay for their dental work but at a subsidised rate.
