Hallo!

My flight is tomorrow (Monday) 11AM from BKK, international flight.  If the taxi starts 7:00AM, will there be enough time ?

 

I remember last year  April 1st, Saturday,  xaxi started 8am, only tool 1 hour 20 min on road. But it was so crowed inside airport and the time was quite tight for all the procedures. 

 

Am curious about the situation recently. Anyone has experience recently ?

 

PS: Since I've been in Thailand for 7 years, I always used this flight at 11AM, always started home 8AM. Never had any problem, sometimes it took only 30 min for all the airport procedures. But the experience of last  April did make me a bit unsure :)))

You will probably be OK.  But, who knows if there is an accident or problem and Monday traffic is worse.

If I had an 11am I would go at 6am.

I would plan to get there at 8am, 3 hours before departure

      More often than not, it seems, when I leave plenty of time everything goes well--taxi arrives on time, no traffic delays, short lines at check-in, and so on.  When I don't give myself enough time and try to cut it close, everything that can go wrong does.  Good advice from the other posters to arrive early--flying these days is hectic enough without adding the stress of possibly missing your flight.

Passport/immigration/security checks, recently took me 1 and 1/2 hour

Is that check in time included? if not, why did it take so long?

I always use BFS departing and arriving, 900baht, check in / security checks /immigration 10 mins - 900baht.
