I'm Vietnamese and currently studying in a university in Bangkok. This summer I'm going to Czech Republic to do an internship. I have non immigration visa which will be expired on July 6th, 2018. However, the internship will be from June 18th to August 12th. I went to the Immigration today to get the re entry permit since it's one of required documents for applying visa to Czech Republic. The thing is that since my visa will be expired on July 6th, I have to come back Thailand before that day.

What should I do now? Will the embassy accept my re entry permit? It is possible to return Thailand after July 6th?

The Czech embassy will wish to see

1) evidence of you going to do an internship, thus showing you have a valid travel reason.

2) evidence that you will have to leave the Schengen area after you are done with the internship. Thus showing reasons for returning where you came from and will not overstay the Schengen visa. Obviously official letters such as enrolment to a school in Thailand & also paperwork showing the Thai authorities will let you back into Thailand will be good evidence to show the embassy that you will and can return to Thailand.

I hope this answers your questions. Unfortunately I only know about Schengen visas, I have close to zero knowledge about Thai visas/permits so I can't comment on arranging the Thai visa/paperwork. Good luck.
