Waste plastic - England saves the planet.

The scandalously high amounts of plastic waste littering streets and oceans is a popular topic these days; not least in Thailand.

But fear not. The boffins at the University of Portsmouth in England have discovered an enzyme that consumes waste plastics in a matter of days and not decades.

Look it up on your computer  - invented in England, on the World Wide Web - invented in England.

Where would the World be without England? Sandwiches, chips, the most popular football league, James Bond, Mr Bean, Shakespeare, the Beatles, the Industrial Revolution, the list is endless.

St George's day today. Share the joy. As is the understated English way, no parade necessary.

Yeah, I read about that a couple of days ago. But you forgot to mention on little details. The invention happened by accident, not by design...

If that apple hadn't fallen out of a tree Newton; an Englisman; would not have discovered gravity.
