Thai Child Passport renewals

Does anyone have recent experience at the Surratthani passport office re:

- Do both parents have to attend when renewing the expired Thai passports of dual national kids? If YES what happens if one works abroad or is otherwise engaged?

- Is a housebook also required or will the childs ID card and expired Thai passport suffice? My eldest is 13.

- Are Non-Thai passports required too? Even if they too have expired?

 

The process was very straightforward when applying for initial passports at the same office 5 years ago & I hope to avoid any probs or unnecessary legwork this time around...
