Nern Sanga police in Chaiyaphum were called to a house in Ban Rang Ngam village on Monday afternoon after reports that a husband had murdered his wife.

Lying dead behind her house with a gaping wound to her head was 66 year old Phrom Kanpaksin.

When Pol Capt Ong-art Lekkla arrived with his team and medics there was a crowd of 100 villagers staring at the corpse, reported Thai Rath.

In front of the house police found a bloodstained axe.

Witnesses said that the husband was responsible.

Banjong Kanpaksin, 67, was arrested as he ran through the village temple.

He was drunk and incoherent and was taken back to the scene of the crime for a quick reenactment.

He has been charged with murder.

RIP, Phrom Kanpaksin.  She didn't deserve being murdered.

I wonder what she did

I'm guessing it was refusal to give 67 year old mamas boy money for alcohol or video games !

Let this be a lesson to the younger generation.
