Australian Passport Holder To The Usa.

Featured Replies

I've read a lot of BS on various US related web sites that contain a lot of conflicting information about which passports you can use to enter the US as a visa waiver.

I am an Australian Citizen and I hold an M series passport that was issued in March 2004. I know that it says that some types of Australian passports can not be used to enter the USA as a visa waiver. My passport is machine readable and also has a digital picture of me in the background as well as the normal pic on the details page.

Any Aussies that have entered the USA very recently on an M series Aussie passport?

It says I will have to get a visa unless I have the correct type of passport (I actually hold a US green card but I dont know where it is and I've been out of the US for over 3 years now so Its proably been cancelled so im relying on my visa waiver entitlement to enter the US for my 1 month stay) So yeah, is the Australian M series of passporet good enough (meets the new BS requirements) or will I need to get a visa?
