Recommendations For Kamala Or Other Quietish Place

Featured Replies

I am heading down to Phuket town soon where I will be staying for a month. I have about 5 days before for a break on one of the beaches. Just need somewhere quiet (but not dead) to chill out ... am not into the party scene. I have just been checking out some rates in Kamala and was surprised at some of the prices but maybe I am being naive in expecting somewhere at a budget of max 700-900. Moreover I am a single traveller and most places I have looked at don't seem to cater for us solo types!!

Would welcome any suggestions ........... thanks

rhis is Thailand ... single travellers are quite common .... there are some GH's around the other area of Kamala that I think are resonable ... you might look at Benjamin though if you want to be where there is more to do at night

Thanks for that, though single travellers sure ain't common here in Kamala. I think I have now been asked by every single tailor on the main street why I am on my own!!!!!
