Hello again people my wife was living here with me in the UK for five years on the 5 year route but because we had been running a small business when we came to her final visa application we didn't have the correct documentation prepaid due to being miss informed by the visa helpline. We were told that we could switch to the 10 year route without having to provide financial details but this changed last September leaving us no time or way of getting the said documents sorted.

Faced with a potential rejection and waste of visa fee we decided that my wife should return to Thailand before her visa expired she has now been in Thailand for over three months and I have just returned after being there for 1 month.

My question is I want my wife to come on a visitor visa so that we can get the house sorted to sell as we no longer want to stay in the UK. I am working (self employed)

with regular income although no books as recently started freelancing. Do you see any major problems in her obtaining a holiday visa given she has already had one visitor visa and also 5 years spent in the uk as my spouse. I have been supporting her in Thailand since she returned and the only purpose of her visit is to assist me in getting ready to move back to Thailand.

Thanks in advance

As long as you can show you have the funds to pay for the trip, can show proof of relationship, adequate accommodation and have a good reason why she will return to Thailand it should tick all the boxes.

Just tell the ECO what you have told us and it should be fine.

Thanks I hope so, neither of us want to stay here so it shouldn't be difficult to prove ?
