50BahtLeo
I've extended non-o entries before for 60 days based on marriage but reading older threads here my understanding is a visa-exempt entry (which I currently entered on as non-o visa has expired) can only be extended for 30 days. Is this correct?
KhunBENQ
Correct. 30 days. And only once of course. Apply about a week before expiry.
elviajero
Not correct. You can extend a 30 day visa exempt entry by 60 days to visit your wife.
50BahtLeo
Thanks folks - was hoping a 60 day extension was possible based on marriage, i.e. there would be no distinction between the type of entry I had. I'll head to CW next week and get it sorted

Chaeng Wattana immigration will even do the 60 day extension after you have already extended a visa exempt or tourist visa entry for 30 days
