Yes, I know that. It is not a point I made. It is a point you made. Anyhow, you now seem concerned about debt, which is a good thing after so many years of accumulation. Here's a quote to put the US national debt in perspective for you:

"The total of Federal (remember they do not use GAAP) debt, state debt, and city debt [unfunded liabilities included] exceeds $200 trillion dollars. There is no set of math that works to pay this off. Let me be sure it’s heard by repeating it: There is no set of math that works to pay this off. Therefore, there has to be some form of remediation. This conversation is uncomfortable, so it is avoided."

BTW, that debt didn't start this past year.

Ok, here is the minor point (relative to the rest of my post) that I was making, this time with a qualifier that I didn't think was necessary:

The reality is that physical money does not go far, at least not in significant quantities compared to total money in circulation.

Would you now care to address my main points instead of using a minor point for a diversion?

Here's a take on Trump's concept of foreign policy

A Senior White House Official Defines the Trump Doctrine: ‘We’re America, Bitch’

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/06/a-senior-white-house-official-defines-the-trump-doctrine-were-america-bitch/562511/

I would also recommend reading another piece (linked in the article itself), dated from 2016:

Trump’s 19th Century Foreign Policy

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/01/donald-trump-foreign-policy-213546

Hard to say which is more alarming - that Trump might have a semi-coherent world view and that it's a warped one, or that the agenda and policies based on such a world view might prove ascendant.

Thanks for sharing, I did not read the second link  before.

Trump has made it very clear with the G7 how he treats so called "allies" as collateral damage

Maybe time for Usa to pay for the mess they have made gaining the biggest economy in the world? They for sure made England pay and commit to it before joining the 2. WW, giving up the last of their empire, and it actually started after the 1. WW

The great economic war continius and maybe we will see the history repeat it self. Who knows

As expected

Right. I think that's we said all along. I'd be very  surprised if that wasn't made clear to Kim, his home crowd propaganda notwithstanding.  China a nd Russia will of course try to weaken it, but it is what it is.

I would be surprised if this had been made clear to Kim in the one-on-one with Trump.  When Trump doesn't have responsible adults watching him he can be induced into doing anything--believing Korea was once part of China when told so by Xi, showing highly classified foreign intelligence to Russians, etc.

I have no doubt that Trump described US-South Korea military exercises as "provocative" because that is how Kim Jong Un described them to Trump.

The mistake world leaders are making is, they try and play Trump just like they did with Obama. Big Mistake! If you play Trump, you will pay for it. You can say what you want. But, Trump has a long memory.

You think Trump isn't being played? :laugh::laugh:

I honestly think many posters here are way out their leaque trying to sound intelligent about what Trump is doing and why. Probably none of you have ever been close to playing the game at his level and never will but will come on here and try to get others to believe you know more that Trump and know what he is doing and can for cast the results. Bar stool talk is giving most of these posts to much credit.

Of course I don't and you know I don't. You just feel the need to mock him so that you feel included. I pity someone like you.

Donald Trump’s accomplishments make Barack Obama look even worse.

It is clear to all who are honest that Obama accomplished next to nothing for the good of America as a whole, and the facts support my assertion. President Trump has put America back to work – and if that were his only accomplishment, it would worthy of praise. Because of the continued stock market performance, people are blessed to have a few years of market growth that will help replenish their retirement portfolios.

Being a color isn’t a skill set, and having a wife who could do jumping jacks didn’t impress China or North Korea. Obama cannot be lauded as great simply because of his melanin content and ghettoish behavior that blacks found acceptable. He must be examined under the microscope of what was/is best for the American people. When examinations are performed using that method of testing we must go back to Ronald Reagan to find another resident who has done as much for the American people.

Ignorance and skin-color bias is not an intellectual pursuit. I challenge those who are saying President Trump is a racist and that he’s not doing what is best for America to give us facts that support those accusations. Opinions are not facts.

Barack Obama didn’t build anything or run anything before taking office. He was a community organizer, which is tantamount to being a “mobster.” Community organizers promise they won’t destroy your property or stir up disturbances in exchange for a company or property owner succumbing to their extortion threats.

The topic is not about Obama. However, I do wish the Mods permit a response to your misleading comments.

First of all Obama has never been identified by a security agency with being linked to mafia groups, as has Trump.

https://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/investigations/trumps-bid-for-sydney-casino-killed-off-by-mob-connections/news-story/65a0e5289cc924722f988bdca4b01e9b

In comparison Obama achieved legal academic excellence being the first black American to be appointed President of Harvard Law Review and went on to being a professor teaching Constitutional Law.

Your first link connects to a weirdo black Christian opinion blog, hardly facts to support your argument. Your second paragraph totally ignores Obama's successes on the domestic front during his time as President. Obama lead the US out of the global financial crisis to re-establishing the US as an economic powerhouse with the outcome of turning around massive job losses to creating more than eleven million new jobs.

IMO it is disgusting Trump has and is reversing many of the protections Obama put in-place for the environment and to protect the people from corporation abuse and corruption.

Yes, you have a point... For example:

--Neither I nor any of my companies have ever never gone bankrupt, repeatedly.

--I've never abused women, and bragged about doing it.

--I've never cheated on my wife, repeatedly.

--I've never defrauded countless business customers and clients of mine.

--I haven't spent my life lying constantly about virtually everything involving my life.

--I've never associated with Russian gangsters and oligarchs who are part of an authoritarian regime that's a clear enemy of my native country.

--I've never condoned or supported racists, bigots, discrimination, or crazed gun nuts...

Etc etc etc...

Indeed, Trump does have a world of experience that I've never had -- and -- DON'T WANT to have.

And these are the credentials of the man who unfortunately leads the most powerful country in the world... Sad....

I've got to concede I've never seen this posted before now:

It's very original as far as I can tell, but that's an easy thing to do when your comments are not tethered to reality.

Obama never created even one job. Americans just started getting crappy part time jobs. The majority of the unemployed just gave up and stopped looking for a job. That moved people off of the dole and made the numbers look good.

I laid off more employees during Obama's reighn than ever before. I hired more during Trump's time in office due to tax breaks. If the Dems get back in office, I am sure I will be laying people off again.

Not sure if you ever ran a business. I mean one with over 200 employees. If you ever did, you would change your tune.

If not, then you have nothing to tell me.

You mean the actual website thyblackman.com? I was afraid you might have gotten your information from a dubious source with no independently verifiable information to back it up. But now that I see you've cited thyblackman.com well, what can I do but take away my accusation of originality on your part. That still leaves you untethered to reality, though.

It's a FRINGE right wing website. The vast majority of black Americans OPPOSE "trump" and that has NOT changed. Why? They're not stupid. He's a racist, he just supported a white supremacist senate candidate in Virginia, he is now in favor of doing away with the preexisting conditions protections under Obamacare (he LIED about that in his sleazy con man campaign) and hundreds of other reasons.

Your weird fringe website does not in any way represent black Americans. Only "trump" fans would begin to believe such a blatant lie.

Another great example -- In Alabama when racist president "trump" endorsed a far right wing pedophile for senate, he barely lost. Why did he lose? 99 percent of black Alabama women voted against him.

Dream on if you think "trump" will ever attract significant percentages of black Americans. Or majorities of so many other groups.  Latino Americans. Jewish Americans. Arab Americans. Muslim Americans. LGBT Americans. Asian Americans.

He's the president of white resentment. End of story.
