However by pleading publicly for it to be issued she is telegraphing the fact that she is looking to flee Thailand and dodge justice?!? How is this allowed?

She will only get her passport back once her 1 year suspended sentence ends and there is a court order stating all completed. In the mean time she could end up on overstay, unless she can get a good lawyer or a very useful Thai friend to allow her to "borrow" passport to extend her visa

Thai movies and bands are irrelevant, not sure why you mention them. Also I had no idea about abduction or rape. Nasty stuff. I've no comments to make about that though. None of my business and certainly shouldn't be mentioned on an open forum. 

 

I do hope she can sort her life out. By all accounts Thailand hasn't been kind to her and her family, perhaps its time to come 'home' and get a real job like most 19 year old girls. Stay off Facebook and IG for a whole and find herself a good Irishman to setup home with. Just a thought...

What this girl does has no skills or talents involved and is no use to society whatsoever, except maybe for the sexual desires of dirty old men. It`s like a comedian who has to tell blue jokes in order to get laughs.

 

It`s just a cheap way of trying to gain fame, any girl of her age with reasonable looks can do the same, it requires no special attributes, she is just one of the many thousands of girls that exhibit themselves online, either for money, to become known on the Internet or both.

 

She is probably wallowing in all the publicity she`s getting and hoping someone will offer her a modelling opportunity or even a movie contract.  Seen this all before, dozens of times, no lectures on trying to make her morally see the errors of her way will work, her sights are placed much higher than that. If some believe she will return to Ireland and find a nice Irish guy then become a loyal girlfriend working at a low paid steady job, forget it, it won`t happen.

You clearly have not done your homework. She has already appeared in 5 or 6 Thai movies and has her own very successful touring  band and is huge in the Phillipines, Malaysia etc. Over 5 million followers would disagree with you. To my mind all alone at 19 years she has fought against corruption and injustice and become a well loved example for the many young people who support her. She should be applauded and not ridiculed. She has achieved this alone without an agent I believe.

I am not comfortable talking about a 19 year old girl but time for a reality check... My last word on the subject.

 

Jessie is a niche, low-level  pretty making around 1000- 2000 baht per IG post or appearance. Like all these pretties she has a finite lifespan and will be yesterday's news in a couple of years. I personally have 'dated' girls with more Social Media followers than her and believe me it's all a front. Bills still need paid and condos don't pay for themselves. A quick look on IMDB will tell you her film 'appearances' are meaningless, she isn't even listed. That tells it's own story. Re her band, it's a garage band with no credibility. Trust me on this.

 

Like I said in my previous post, I wish her well but if I was her family I'd be urging her to get back on a plane and forget Thailand. She's not going to be the next Yaya, Bella or Chompoo Hargate.

What do you mean; she has fought against corruption and injustice? Who is the girl, the next Mother Teresa? And her being a well loved example for many young people or otherwise considered a role model, is really concerning, because this is not a path young people should take, it can only lead to emotional and mental disaster. The sex industry, and what she does is part of the sex industry, even if soft, is a tough business, many eventually end up on drugs, in broken relationships and emotionally broken. Quite often when these girls become past their prime, which is early in this line of work, end up on the scrap heap, with terrible reputations and loss of credibility later on. These women are only perceived as sexual objects, an image that they create for themselves, believing they are in the same leagues as movie or pop stars, when they are not. 

 

She is just another girl using sexual objectification to promote herself, the type that the METOO brigades claim is abuse and victimisation against women. 

 

This girl should not be given a celebrity type status and young people should not be encouraged to view her as a role model, for reasons I have mentioned above.

 

While on the subject of corruption, still want to know how manages top stay and work in Thailand, the line of work she`s into being illegal for foreigners.

Well yeah, the scale is actual model - wannabe model - pretty - soft core porn star - HC porn star - anything goes, pretty much a linear scale. Often linked with all sorts of petty criminals, prostitution, drug dealers, etc. The world is full of them, seems like an easy way to make some $ but tends to end up at the bottom.
