Why are people quoting people from 3 days ago?

Maybe because we are not all glued to to our screens 24/7 and when we see comments that interest us we quote it and that may be a week later.

 

I get the daily newsletter and whilst I read them all I do not do this everyday

I'd rather see a 3 day old quote as compared to no quote at all. I find responses with no quote very difficult to understand or respond to. I find myself scrolling up and down in an attempt to determine what it relates to. So please, same day 3 days, any day, please use the quote feature.

Are you really "scrolling up and down in an attempt to determine what it relates to"?

Personally I just ignore unclear comments. Lots of people just have to say something and if it's only "I don't know what I should say about this".
