Yup, as above, & so the gun carnage continues in the US, which then somehow gets defended by the gun totin' crowd.

Laughable really, if it wasn't so tragic.

Yep ,,,,,If some of the People there would have carried a Gat they could have Shot the Bastard,,, I am all for that even in Thailand,,,too many braindead people on the road here, One must be able to defend oneself.

The Nazi’s started their persecution of the Jews by dehumanizing and scapegoating them as the cause of the problems being faced by ordinary working Germans.

The same process is now taking place in the US.

The people dehumanizing Jews in the US are mainly on the Left and in the Democratic Party, with the Sharptons, Ellisons, and the just nominated Ocasio-Cortez.

So here's the latest evidence, from that quack institution Harvard.

https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/hicrc/firearms-research/guns-and-death/

This book chapter summarizes the scientific literature on the relationship between gun prevalence (levels of household gun ownership) and suicide, homicide and unintentional firearm death and concludes that where there are higher levels of gun ownership, there are more gun suicides and more total suicides, more gun homicides and more total homicides, and more accidental gun deaths...This article examines homicide rates of Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) from 1996 to 2010.  Differences in rates of homicides of LEOs across states are best explained not by differences in crime, but by differences in household gun ownership.  In high gun states, LEOs are 3 times more likely to be murdered than LEOs working in low-gun states.

The numbers speak for themselves.

Sorry mate the NRA will NEVER permit referendums in the USA...

Nothing to do with the NRA, there is no provision in the constitution for public referendums, it is against federal law.  However each state can have a legislative referral, which is a type of referendum, and they can impose gun restrictions on their state, like they have done, and nothing the NRA can do to stop that, other than lobby, which obviously they have but they have not succeeded in preventing restrictions being passed in most states.

1- stop gun trade

Yes-he posts that on  every thread relating to guns..

It may be possible that he has never owned anything more lethal than a slingshot made of clothes pegs and a used condom -but hey,who knows, as it is the internet after all.

Anyone who needs to open dozens of guns probably has an underlying insecurity or disorder they should address.....

I haven't used a gun in years and feel safe enough in most of the world.....

In Switzerland every household is armed

They have the equivalent of approximately one gun per household but not every household is armed, the militia is voluntary and only 11% of them take their guns home, the rules for obtaining a gun license are strict, not every household is eligible, those housing convicted criminals or the mentally ill cannot have guns in the house.

And this is news? Should be a footnote somewhere, another mass shooting in the US (yawn). Guns + people = mass shootings.

Yes it certainly is monotonous and hardly worth front page coverage.  You reap what you sow and Americans appear to be happy with what they sow.

How is that guns or US gun laws make people go out and kill a bunch of other people?

I would imagine if a person is hell bent on killing a bunch of people and didnt have a gun he/she would find another way to accomplish that mission.

Sorry people, its not the tools that can kill people, its the people that want to kill people. That is where the focus should be.

Ahhh, the old "guns don't kill people, people kill people" nonsense.

American tragic situation teaches us that it is, more often than not, people with guns that kill people.

Take away easy access to guns and it becomes a whole lot harder to "kill a bunch of people".
