PHUKET:-- Police have arrested a total of 49 people for illegal gambling in two separate raids on a casino operating in Phuket Town.

 

Last Friday (July 6), police raided a warehouse on Soi Chumchon Seang Suk, Lim Sui Ju Rd in Phuket Town after receiving a tip-off it was used for illegal gambling.

 

During the raid police arrested 26 people and seized various gambling-related items.

How is it possible to raid the same place two times! Must have been a really sloppy job first time, and a lock on the doors bought in a 20 baht shop!

1st visit didn't supply them with enough money for the tea

It only says they arrested people gambling, nothing said about arresting the people running it.

Can't imagine how you can expect to run an illegal casino in Thailand...the first sore loser will go to the cops and sing like a bird.
