Off to Samui tomorrow, need a room for about 1-2000 Baht a night. Don't really care on what beach, but perhaps best on Lamai. Any hints, recommendations ASAP would be appreciated.

Hi there i stayed at the maria bungalow in Lamai 1200baht a night with AC,TV.hot water and shower nice resort right by the beach just up passed the crossroad on the left hand side

Yes, and.............was it good......how was the bungalow, since they are a dime a dozen all over Samui....but not all are good to stay at, bugs and not having your bed made etc, etc.

Have stayed at Lamai Wanta but over the xmas time had no rooms left + the price keeps going up at lamai wanta so my misses found this place and the bungalow are nice and clean and maid clean them every day and wait's untill u go out to clean you room and don't knock on the door at 10am to clean the room.Have no swimming pool like lamai wanta and the food is not up to much but for a good priced bungalow it is spot on.Sorry for the delay but been working away.

Thanks for the tips, I tried the Lamai Wanta but they only had one room and we needed two so stayed down the road at the Lamai Inn 99 instead. Lamai Wanta looks like it had some nice rooms for the money though, will definitely use them next time. Cheers for the help.
