My husband and I applied our UK tourist visa through VFS in Bangkok on June 29, and now it is 15 working days already, but still did not receive any confirmation email. He has a Thailand work visa, and I am a housewife with the Thailand spouse visa,  my passport was renewed right before the UK application(not sure if this is one of the reasons why it took so long for decision making).

They said the non settlement application normally takes within 15 days,  so what should we do after 15 days, i check the website, said we can contact the UK Visas and Immigration by phone or email (need to pay extra money),  shall I just wait a few more days, or is that necessary to contact them?

If anyone applied the UK travel visa in BKK recently, can you share how long have you been waiting?  Thanks in advance!

I would wait a few more days. The decision making moved to Delhi in June and my guess (and it's only a guess) is that things are taking a bit longer than they did.

I know of 3 that were 13,15 and 15 working days respectively.

Some people are getting emails to say that the operational target of 15 days will not be met - not sure if these are specifically where additional information has been requested.

It is obviously a backward step because straight forward applications were turned round within a week by the Bangkok embassy.
