Car with driver

I be arriving next week and will want to be driven around for a few hours for a few days looking for long term accom. Any recommendations and ball park costing for the transport?

I think cost will be about the same with most services +/- a few hundred Baht.

 

I have had great success using this company for airport drop off/pickup. I think their prices are reasonable, and have always been taken very well care of.

The taxis based at Jungceylon charge around 1,600 baht for 8 hours, but at that price you'd be limited to the local Patong, Kathu, Karon area. A little more expensive if you want to go further afield.

Rent a car at the airport. That's what I did when I first arrived here in 2005. David Car Rental is who I used and they are still around.
