Good point. But in a caring and truly environmentally responsible society, there are numerous jobs that people could be doing. For example: Thailand is very much an ageing society; those older people need help with all sorts of things. New types of job can be created to help those who are vulnerable, sick, lonely, and so on. With imagination and creativity - all things are possible. Thinking that automation is the end of the world is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Civilisation has been through similar challenges many times in the past - and we are still here, and most of us have (or had) some kind of work. The same will apply to the future. One door closes - but another door opens.

Good points also and of course the new jobs will be in the serving sector.Money is the problem,if less people are working who is going to pay for all that? There are trials with a basic income for all people, working or not and that could be part of the answer.I do not believe in mindless endless work in a factory creates happy people.

Give them the money robots make and let them do their hobbies or enjoy (free) education so they can find a job they like?

How about making a proper move forward and having a complete revamp of the whole education system ?

Better still why not initiate a proper education system. Start from the ground up

If the" was serious about what he is saying, many moves could have been made to improve education during his reign. Now it is too late. Hopefully a competent individual will be able to improve education, at some point. It will definitely not be this simpleton fool. If anything, he wants to keep the common man down. Everything he has done in the past four years indicates that. His entire job and his agenda has always been to protect the elite, the wealthy, and those in power. Not to bring up the common man. More fake news from the chief liar.

Surely you're not proposing  that after a four year stint at being in charge the education system can't be altered.

Oh it's a food truck, I had assumed, after a cursory glance, that it was promoting a dodgy plastic surgeon who specialised in ridiculous breast enhancements...

Yeah, but she's got great posture though....

proper education is not in place?

Why not skill them to be farmers.

Look at what the European farmers are doing. The drought in Germany, farmers are asking for $1 billion to help them thru, I believe. Thais have more initiative.

The other big problem is funding and its cost.  No money no honey.

Its easy to look at Japan and say Korea, but they have good financial backers within their own country.

Need to crawl first

Just the opposite. I was saying that if Tiny P. was a serious man, which we all know he is not, there are 100 areas where the educational system could be improved. But, since he means nothing he says, and does nothing for this nation, it will not happen. That is just the way he rolls. Mr. fake news. Totally insincere nonsense, 24/7.

Thais dont want this  type of "hard  work"  anymore, you have to understand many are simply bone idle, security guard is their ideal job, can sleep  all night and not do too  much in the day, although i do acknowledge blowing the whistle can be tiring.

Security Guard is not their ideal job.

Their ideal vocation would be as a Car Park attendant on Cup Final day. ( providing its not raining of coarse ) ?

full throttle  with wheel spin??

Sure, but best use extra wide tires, you need to get a good grip... or, given the amount of liquid in the human body, would Formula 1 type 'racing slicks' be better? - Class to discuss.
