Bank Robbery Rules;

No.1 Cover your face

No.2 Prepare your escape in advance (hailing a taxi doesn't count)

No.3 Hit that same bank again, security was useless

Police in Bangkok want the public’s help in catching a lone bank robber who made off with Bt180,000 on Thursday evening.

Pol Maj Gen Sompong Chingduang, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, urged anyone with information to share it with the police.

A man who appeared to be 25-30 years old robbed the Krung Thai Bank branch at the Max Value supermarket in Bangkok’s Bueng Kum district at 4.30pm on Thursday. A blue cap was concealing his face.

Police questioned two taxi-motorcyclists at the mall who unwittingly aided in his escape, but they knew nothing about him.

He closed the door behind him; that's what he did! ?

Guess, the robber misunderstood the sign 'ReFinance'. ?

Nowadays robbing a bank is not worth it. Even I thought Thai bank branches have more cash available due to the affection of Thais to cash. Obviously they have security precautions.
Rob a bank in Europe you won't get more than 90,000 Baht or something. Other than that is in a vault with a time lock.
Robbing gold shops in Thailand should be more attractive...
