3BB driver backed into my pristine PCX 2 months ago and 3BB insurance still not wanting to pay out saying that there was previous damage to the bike

In the end the 3BB company came up with the  insurance shortfall, apparently understanding that I wasn't going to go away and that the Insurance company was in error! (Even they were at odds with their own insurance company)

Maybe the huge delays were due to 3BB trying to welch one whatever their agreed deductible was and trying to stick the whole bill with MT? Pretty much every insurance, private and commercial fleet has deductibles, ie. an amount that the owner agrees to pay towards any damage claims. Maybe the 'standard' 5000 baht deductible on a private car insurance is higher for commercial or fleet insurance, say 10,000 baht and the (my estimate) 4000-6000 baht damage to the PCX didn't come close? Sounds to me that 3BB paid the deductible eventually but agree that MT's simple lack of acknowledgement of the issue was bad. I would guess that language was probably key to this with maybe just a hint of 'face' through being told what to do by one of those infernal furreners who does know his rights!
