Hospitals in Khon Kaen

Featured Replies

Need to take my girlfriend to a reliable Dr and get hospital treatment, and as Khon Kaen is the nearest major city nearby thought would be the best place to go.

She has some ongoing health issues that don't seem to be addressed satisfactorily at the local clinic.

What is the best.

Why doesn't she get a referral letter from her local clinic to go to the teaching hospital in KK? With a referral letter she will receive free treatment.

It might help if you give a least an idea of what the health problem is.

Does it really need inpatient treatment?

Or are you looking for a qualified specialist who does outpatient treatment?

Many specialist who work at the best qualified hospital ("teaching hospital" aka. Srinagarind University hospital) will do outpatient treatment at different private hospitals or own clinics after hours.

Yes, more info needed.

Type of problem.

Treatment received so far, test results etc and done where

Which hospital is she registeted at under Govt scheme

What medications currently taken.

Showing up at another hospital without prior medical records in hand will often cause more harm than good and at a minimum, unnecessary repeat exams/tests. So get those records as a first step. Often that alone will resolve the issue as it often turns out to be different than it sounded. Thais tend not to understand or communicate well on medical matters.
