still waiting

G,day all. i did write a while back on the subject.my thai wife and i applied for partner visa April 4th 2017.

have done all required, got phone call from embassy(both of us,me in Australia,at time g/f in Thailand.) end Dec 2017

in Sept, 2017 was granted a 12 mth mulitiple entry. used 1st 3mth straight away,g/f back in Thailand Dec.2017.

thought we,d get permanent visa early on in year..nothing by April,so she come over for 2nd  3mth visa .

has been back in Thailand since July 4th. still nothing from embassy..she email them  6th  August.

got the "no reply" email a week later,and nothing since.one question, could the remaining 12 mth multi entry visa ,

stop us from getting the partner visa until it has run out? or another question, could coming over on them 3mth visa,s

put the partner visa back a bit of time? friend in S.A applied 3wks later, (but a spouse visa) and was granted 2mth ago..

i know while wife in Aust. the embassy wont make a decision on the visa.( dont know why they cant say if it has come up to time to

ring/email so partner could fly back to Thailand to recieve?)just dont understand why so long wait..just hope someone can shed some light.
