just a quick question I left Thailand around 6th august this year will be back mid September....I have a retirement visa, multi entry visa. my 90 day reporting is due in September, but I believe that I don't need to report for another  90 days  from the date  entering the country which would make it November instead

cheers

You do not need to do a report of staying longer than 90 consecutive days in the country unless you stay that long.

When you enter the country your report will be due 90 days from the date you entered the country including that day in the count.

Quick question,  visa or extension,  if extension did you get a re-entry permit?

This is irrelevant in the context of this topic.

Multi entry 'retirement' visa is generally what people call an extension based on retirement.

The OP stated he has ME.

Yes it could be an extension with ME re-entry permit, OR, it could be a Non Imm O-A ME Visa (also referred to as a 'Retirement Visa' on many websites, which would also allow 90 day reports, but agree with Maestro it's irrelevant to the OP's question.

If he had a Non Imm O ME Visa, he wouldn't be making 90 day reports.

Yes, I agree with both of you but if people used the correct terminology no-one would have to answer questions like  I have a one year retirement visa and I went to Laos for a week and when I returned they only stamped me in for 30 days, why?????

I understand where your coming from and it's an uphill battle.

Most don't care what they have as long as they can stay in Thailand.

When you try to correct and explain, they accuse you of semantics, when in fact you use the correct terminology and it is they who use semantics. You can explain, but you can't make them understand.

I continue to post about it on here, but, when anyone asks me an extension, visa or WP question directly I now just say,  I don't know, it's all changing, check with Immigration.

The one that really makes me shut up about it is  ' My wife called Immigration and she says xxxxxxxxxxxxxx '
