Thai GF Tourist sub 600 visa to Australia

Featured Replies

My Thai girlfriend has recently had a 1yr Tourist subclass 600 visa expire and I would like to apply for another one (I am her sponsor)

os she likely to have it granted due to all the same circumstances? Or is it right that she won’t be able to have another

her previous visa had a “no further stay” condition, but my understanding is that that only means she cannot stay in the country longer on the current visa, and she must leave Upon expiry.

Please can someone offer advice ?

Thanks

mike

I would suggest waiting 3 - 4 months before applying for a new visa. Issues to consider would include the frequency and length of trips under her previous visa, (just 1 or 2 trips of a few weeks each or long stays?).

(Your understanding of the 'no further stay' condition is correct...it is to prevent stays longer than 90 days each on the current visa).
