Popular Post Esso49 Posted September 3, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted September 3, 2018 No Volkswagen can be classified as a vintage car as Volkswagon did not start production until 1937 wheres to be a vintage car it can be no younger than 1930. Having said that those restorations of older VWs, but modern in historical terms, look superb. especially the fabric upholstery in the beetle shown. What about the engine re-builds ? do they use true German spares or re-manufactured in Thailand ? Does he have a website/ any stock or just restores what customers take to him ? Always liked the VW pick-up when I first saw them, although a rarity, on UK roads in the 50s and 60s, so love the double cab shown. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I was younger my brother and I were into v-dubs and had quite a collection. Living in Canada they had a lot of gas heaters for the interior. As for Chiang Mai I have run across Karmen Ghia models in Chiang Mai, that I never knew existed, or were never sold in the US back when.
