Vintage Volkswagens

Seems almost every bus that made it to Thailand had the safari windows.

Extremely rare in North America.

When I was younger my brother and I were into v-dubs and had quite a collection.

Living in Canada they had a lot of gas heaters for the interior. We sold quite a few of them to Californians for top dollar as they were rare there.

It gets very hot here, and maybe a VIP owner who cannot be without A/c

regards worgeordie

in my view anybody who drives a car in Thailand without a/c is a masochist. but 34hp and aircon is surprising.

Don'y know where he lives but I have pictures of most of the above because he had them on display in Maya (?) Mall last July?

As for Chiang Mai I have run across Karmen Ghia models in Chiang Mai, that I never knew existed, or were never sold in the US back when.

Hi Gino,

I am not exactly sure, he is on Facebook and that is where I have seen all the vehicles he sells. I will try and find out a bit more info for you.

Great! Please get some example prices as well.

yes, that is the chap, take a few minutes to look through the hundreds of photos showing his work.

His home page gives an address in Bangkok, BangWa. Maybe he just had a display in CM to drum up business.
