Trump hits CNN and NBC, urges 'look at their license'- tweet

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump blasted CNN and NBC News yet again in a tweet on Tuesday, criticizing NBC's handling of a story on movie producer Harvey Weinstein and suggesting a "look at their license," without specifying what exactly he was calling for.

BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany's far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) has overtaken the centre-left Social Democrats (SPD), a poll showed on Tuesday, days after some of the most violent protests by radical right-wingers the country has seen in decades.

Cars, motorcycles hit trouble after truck spews mud slick across Bangkok road

JD.com CEO was arrested on allegation of rape: police report

MINNEAPOLIS/SHANGHAI (Reuters) - The founder and chief executive of Chinese retailer JD.com Inc, Richard Liu, was arrested in Minneapolis last week following an allegation of rape, according to a public information report released by police on Tuesday.

DSI looks for evidence of 2016 activist disappearance

A Department of Special Investigation-led team has combed Nong Rai Kai graveyard and a nearby area of the Thung Kamang Wildlife Sanctuary in Chaiyaphum to find evidence on the reported death of Khok Yao land rights activist Den Khamlae, who disappeared in mid-April 2016, while officials admitted evidence might be hard to find.

Kalasin removes electrical waste

A 50-tonne first batch of waste electrical equipment will be removed free-of-charge on Thursday from the Khok Sa-art community in Kalasin's Khong Chai district, which has been known for recycling and processing e-waste for proper disposal in Sara Buri, said provincial natural resources and environment office director Phichit Sombatmak on Wednesday.

LONDON (Reuters) - British prosecutors on Wednesday identified two Russians who they accused of trying to murder former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia with a military-grade nerve agent in England.

Mid-year Thai bank holiday abolished

BANGKOK — For as long as Thais can remember, bank branches, public or private, always close in the middle of the year on July 1 to do some bookkeeping. That tradition will end next year.
