NAKHON RATCHASIMA — A primary school teacher apologized for shaming his students online for not weaving flower garlands to his standards.

A teacher at a school in the northeast apologized after netizens brigaded his personal Facebook page Tuesday for cussing out a group of schoolgirls for weaving what he deemed a “real piece of shit” garland in class.

With <deleted> like this teaching, and supposedly encouraging young children, it is no wonder the school system is a right mess.Luckily, all teachers are not the same as him.

Instant dismissal would be appropriate, although it will not happen.

My wife is a Thai school teacher and has learned to put a brave and encouraging face on most things presented to her - goes for when I get undressed too I guess.

As known it's more important to weave garland than to study.

Really, w..t..f is wrong with these people!

Teacher should be sacked and never able to work with children again! It's a small incident, yes, maybe, but rest assured that this teacher will not change his behavior and should simply not work with children.

Thai education in a nut shell!

Sad that teacher has not the capabilities to read and understand our comments.

Do you really think it would make one scrap of difference if she could?

He is probably Pixxed off because he can't get away with certain relations with the students in his class as he has read about others doing. maybe this attitude means that his idea of being a "Teacher" is different ?.

....send that teacher to recess...

Sack him.

He is not fit for purpose.

"Toto posted an apology Wednesday accompanied by an unblurred photo of the three children."

No teacher should post pictures of their students on personal pages.

This moron is a disgrace.

"Toto on general student attractiveness:

“There aren’t really pretty girls found in the countryside. This is the best that can be found here,” he captioned a photo of seven students from grades 2 through 4 practicing a school dance.

In fact, Toto displayed a pattern of only favoring his male students in possibly inappropriate terms.

“Evaluation will be based on your looks and my own personal preferences. Both of you are handsome,” he wrote with a photo of several boys working on a class project."

It's said a baby falls 2,000 times before they can walk properly.. do we knock them back at the first fall?

No we pick them up and encourage them to continue trying...

Maybe a lesson there for the teacher !!!...

Maybe he should improve his teaching skills.. it's never too late!!!!

Yes sure..if she knows how it feels to be criticized then maybe she stop doing that to young children

what a d1ckhead.. his own vanity gets in the way of encouraging the children and promoting having a go to reinforce self belief

Wow! I didn't read the article in the link. This guy should not only be sacked and never be able to work again, but also the police should start a thorough investigation into this pervert!

  • 2 weeks later...

Shaming people for effort or appearance choices at young ages is disguesting at best. Some people should never be allowed in a classroom.

Worked at a catholic university for awhile and there was a flaming, fat "pinoy" that myself and another teacher took to task because he called a girl student a whore for piercing her nose. Long story short, he apologized on bended knee. :wai:
