Rescue service Hak 31 in Nakorn Ratchasima were called to a village after a dog was shot with a 40 centimeter arrow.

 

A local in Piman district had tried to help the dog but it was running around in agony with the arrow stuck in its neck.

 

Rescue services managed to shoot it with a tranquilizer dart before taking it away for treatment at a vets.

 

People in the area said it was probably shot by others in the area who rear expensive fighting cocks.
