Need to get a russian work visa for a business trip coming up soon i have all the correct papers etc for the visa but i really don't want to go up to bangkok.

I'm planning to get a double entry tourist visa at the Russian embassy in Bangkok later this month, and wondered the same thing about Chiang Mai. Not many Russians up here. Somebody thought you might find an agency somewhere to avoid the trip, but others advised me I'd probably end up appearing in person in Bangkok.
