minibuses at airport going to Patong

Featured Replies

Hi. Will get to Phuket at 7pm on a weekday. Where are the minibuses to Patong located?

Best choice to get there?

thanks, Glen

Minibus can take 2 h to your hotel from airport. Price something about 200b. I prefer taxi for 700b. Just because its faster and you are not sitting in a cramped minibus with 10-12 other people with their luggage.

Thanks guys. Appreciate it, Glen

take the smart bus to Patong, cheaper/faster than mini bus and he wont stop at a jewelry store ????
of course if ur hotel is not on the main road, u'll need walk or take a tuktuk

I was under the belief the last bus was at 8:30pm.  If so, with the OP arriving at 7pm, that could be tight.

His plane would only need a short delay and / or a long queue at immigration, and he may just miss the last bus.

than go to option 2 :-)

Flown into phuket airport many many times, always from getting off to the plane-thru immigration to outside never more than 30 minutes, ( no bags to pickup)
