PHUKET: GoAir, one of India’s fastest growing airlines, landed its first-ever direct flight into Phuket from New Delhi this morning (Oct 11). The flight also marked the first-ever direct flight from India to Phuket.

 

GoAir had recently announced Phuket as its first international destination, with new international schedule introducing direct flights connecting Phuket with Mumbai and New Delhi.

 

The direct flights between Phuket and Delhi operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while the direct flights between Phuket and Mumbai operate on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

just a bit puzzled now, does it mean we hit rock bottom?

I checked their website for a random date next month.  One way for 4500 baht seems like a pretty good deal if you have to go to India and don't want the hassle of going through BKK.
